Nick Andrews


Nick Andrews is the Founder and Managing Director of Virtual Operations. Formerly, Nick was a Partner at Accenture and the founding Partner of ALSBridge. Nick has over 20 years’ experience in outsourcing, as a provider and advisor and 8 years in Intelligent Automation.

Earlier in his career Nick specialised in BPO sales and procurement, contract negotiation and strategy, Nick has led, or been a key team member in, many of the land-mark BPO deals in Europe. He has worked for organizations and clients including Ernst & Young, Accenture, KPMG and BP.

With his strong professional experience and a history of successful projects and business ventures, Nick is recognized within the Industry as a thought author and speaker in Process Automation and Digital Strategy.


James Swinford


James has over 12 years’ experience in business process Automation. He worked for Fidelity Investments for 6 years prior to joining Virtual Operations In 2013. James’ role focused on Operational Architecture/Design and Automation within the Financial Services Sector. He was responsible for setting up and establishing the Robotic process automation group within Fidelity. In 2013 James joined Virtual Operations as the Director of Professional Services. Initially his focus was on growing the Global Professional Services team in order to establish Virtual Operations as the market leader in Automation advisory, support and delivery services globally.

In 2017 James transitioned into the role of Virtual Operations CEO. Leveraging his vast automation and industry experience he has been key to the successful growth of Virtual Operations in the Automation market place.


Peter Clarke


Peter joined Virtual Operations in 2013. Peter is responsible for Virtual Operations Advisory service line, supporting clients in their automation strategy and COE set-up, RPA-enabled transformation training and implementation, overall program and project management, and he is the author of the company’s methodology. He is a speaker at RPA conferences and has written several RPA related thought leadership papers that have been issued in industry publications. 

Peter has significant and wide-ranging, operational, project and process management experience gained with blue-chip consulting, sourcing and business services companies. His experience in delivering optimised business operations has included establishing governance for new outsourcing contracts, process reengineering, organisational and operational design, and onshore and offshore service centre set-up  

Will Griffiths


Will has extensive experience in business transformation, particularly in development and delivery of Robotic Process Automation. Coming from an operations background, Will established himself as an Subject Matter Expert and RPA developer/analyst within a FTSE100 Business Process Outsourcing company before joining Virtual Operations in 2014.

In his current role as Operations Principal, Will is responsible for the management and delivery of client projects globally, maintaining and promoting industry best practices, and the delivery of certified RPA training programmes. He is an expert in RPA delivery with a wealth of experience in end to end RPA project delivery and management, stakeholder management, solution design and planning.
